What is a pack-out?
When a home's interior has sustained severe damage, a contents pack-out moves household contents to Statewide Restoration's secure, climate-controlled storage facility for cleaning and deodorizing, and protects them from further smoke or water damage.
Every loss is unique, so we adapt each pack-out to be as efficient and professional as possible. Matterport 3D scans are available to document the before and after.
The process
- The pack-out is documented by photo and video so items return to their original location after repairs.
- Essential items (clothing, medications, eyeglasses, pet items) are identified and set aside before packing.
- Contents are inventoried, packed and transported to our secure facility.
- Items are cleaned, deodorized and stored until your home is ready.
- We deliver, unpack and place everything back where it belongs.
